Renai Allen is a dual board-certified Family Medicine and Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of experience across diverse clinical and academic settings. She provides integrative care for patients of all ages, effectively managing both acute and chronic medical and mental health conditions within her full scope of practice, utilizing evidence-based approaches to achieve optimal patient outcomes and promote mental wellness.
Born and raised in New England, she launched her academic career at Northeastern University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology with a Neuroscience concentration. Transitioning from research to hands-on patient care, she adopted a holistic, personalized treatment philosophy. Committed to improving outcomes for underserved patients with complex comorbidities, she pursued advanced nursing education at Regis College, earning both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). She completed the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program at Georgia College; and culminated with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Brandman University (now UMASS Global), in psychiatric/mental health.
Renai is certified by both the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She graduated with honors and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, while at Regis College and then Brandman University's Nursing Honor Society.
She values the rapport established with her patients and emphasizes consistency, stability, and an unwavering commitment to serving the community through her practice, providing psychiatric service. Olive Tree Behavioral Health delivers culturally competent care.
